The Basket Case

Unfortunately, Astroboy is a bit of a nut. He over grooms himself, he picks on El Señor Don Gato, and he climbs windows, cupboards, and shelves like a deranged monkey. But he’s my nut. He’s the sweetest, most sensitive cat I know. He will sit on my lap when a wave of anxiety is about to wash over me. He never lashes out at me when he’s annoyed. He lets me bathe him and administer his medication without a fight. He can be a handful and he’s always full of surprises. Life is never dull around this basket case. 🙂

Wednesday the Ripper

As promised, here’s my distorted cat portrait of the day. Wednesday still looks sweet here, but there’s a glint of madness behind those eyes. Haha. She is the Ripper. Give her paper, cardboard, even cloth and she will shred it in an instant. She remains gentle and Zen-like the rest of the day, though. This is the Yin to her Yang, I suppose. 😝
